About me
Marisa Williams is a PhD student in Afro-American Studies at UMass Amherst. Marisa grew up in Texas and Louisiana. They received an undergraduate education at Ball State University, as well as earned a Master of Arts in English from Oregon State University. Their academic interests encompass Horror Noire, Southern Gothic Literature and Postcolonialism.
