Jennifer Browdy, PhD, has taught literature, writing and leadership for social and environmental justice at Bard College/Simon’s Rock for many years. She coined the term “purposeful memoir” and has shared her own life story and the techniques of purposeful memoir in several award-winning books: Purposeful Memoir as a Quest for a Thriving Future, The Elemental Journey of Purposeful Memoir, and the memoir What I Forgot ...And Why I Remembered.
